Wouldn’t be the way the familiar “essences” of living land on the plot a wonderful opportunity to finally discover the place, its vicinity and the world around it?

The competition was announced as part of the Bavarian government’s experimental model project “Efficient construction - affordable housing—more affordable housing for Bavaria”. On the plot between the city entrance and the Danube, a development is to be erected which will provide space for around 130 subsidised apartments and the corresponding subsequent facilities. In addition to the demand for efficient and cost-effective construction, the challenge lies in dealing with the concrete situation: the location exposed to noise suggests a retreat and a turning away from the surroundings, while the proximity to the Danube basin and the view of the city panorama demand height and view.
